H'lo.
I've been home for a week and a bit. Wish I hadn't needed to come back, though. Picked up the new car a week ago last Saturday, got to the grocery store on the way home and noted there are a slew of scratches UNDER the finish. This is a 2009 BLACK car with scratches down to white under the finish! I sent an email to the sales guy. He phoned last Wed pm at 8:30 and left a message with Boy. Said he'd be there til 9. I called at 8:50 when I got home. He was gone for the day. I told the secretary or whateverthehellsheis that he could call me back. Since then I've heard nothing from him. Am I pissed off? Why, yes I am! I'm pissed off enough that if I call him I will be FAR from reasonable. I just KNOW he will make some kind of excuse about it so I should likely talk to the manager... maybe. Or head office. I dunno.
When I was in Scotland back in 1989 I saw a commercial for Alliance & Leicester which charmed me so much I took video of it on the TV. I just found the ad on youtube:

Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry, in case you can't place the voices. I still love it! "Choccy toppings?"
I have a lot to get done before the next trip away, but I seem to be stuck in bed with one thing and another. Hopefully today will be productive.
Supposed to go up to see The Big Neem this weekend, and one of Nemo's ex band-mates is performing there, so the band is trying a get together - 20 years later. I could do without that part, really. Nemo is the only one out of then 4 of them who didn't go on to "make it big" in the industry somehow.
This is "Scamp" (His mom wanted a baby, and his dad wanted a dog, so they had him and called him "Scamp") This is Stevie. And this has some info about Bobby (he writes books now). There are even some pictures of Nemo in there. Actually, I think he may have provided some of the pics.
I was Yoko Ono, only I never tried to sing.

My throat is sore. Going to get more tea, I think.
