Lilies and electrode gel...
Today was my mom's birthday, so I bought her lilies…
I did so after spending many hours in physiology lab, doing EKG's, where electrodes were placed on my arms, legs, and various other areas, all with electrode gel, of which I think I still smelled like when I bought the flowers.
The lilies had a nice light scent at the store, and I really liked it, but unfortunately, when I was driving home, I started mixing the salty electrode gel smell coming from me, and the lily smell from the flowers next to me, in my mind…
So now, each time I go to the kitchen (where the lilies are sitting on the counter), I think of electrode gel…which is not a nice thing when you want to be thinking about flowers!
