So...Castiel...

I probably have made no secret of my dislike for Castiel, but I'm wondering...why DO people like him? He doesn't seem to have much personality or personal storyline and I find him very...bland. The best guess I can come up with is that people think he's pretty and are making up fanon for him, but I'm sure that's only true for a small section of

He's AMAZING!!! I am a fan of him obviously.

First off from the moment he entered the screen he had this kind of power and presence, the whol look at me I'll smite you thing. His voice is great to listen too and his facial expressions are amazing, he can do threatening and confused. The writers give him some amazing lines.

Now, the actor. Misha Collins is amazing. Granted I have loved the character since the beginning and didn't know much about the actor but I saw some of the youtube videos from the NJ con and he is just funny, and sweet, and refreshing. Most actors know how to handle the fans but he obviously didn't, he didn't filter himself or play games, he was genuine and an all around sweet guy.

I have to be honest and say my love for him also comes from my love for the newest season's storyline, I love the whole Angel thing and the casted it perfect.y. Often they struggle with casting on the female end but they found an amazing actor for the character of Castiel. I don't read much fan fiction and so I don't know about him fanon wise I just know I love him. And yes he is very very pretty and his eyes are oh so blue :D

From the interviews I've seen, I quite like Misha and am excited for his panel at the convention this weekend. I mostly have issues with Castiel as a character. I love the new storyline too, he's just very grating on me.

To be honest, I don't find him that attractive. He's just not my type, though I think Misha is cuter than Castiel if that makes any sense.
