So, I went out of town this past weekend, which is why I was a particularly awful friend. I got to go home and see my mom and my grandma and my friends and, most importantly, my dog. And the cats because once the cats know you're there, you are obliged to pet them for at least four hours a day. But it was good, I got away from campus for a bit, downloaded the new Sims expansion pack and all the shows I had missed, went to the doctor and scored me some Vicoden. I didn't do any work which wasn't the best idea because I have a paper due Friday, a term paper due Monday, and two tests next week, but whatever. That's what this weekend will be for.
Speaking of papers I have to write, the big term paper is going to be on reproductive issues in Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and Twilight. And by reproductive issues, I mean EVERY WOMAN HAS BABIES. BABIES EVERYWHERE. YOU KNOW WHO DOESN'T HAVE BABIES? ONLY MEN. I downloaded Eclipse/Breaking Dawn (and read it and was horrified at every single thing that happened) and my roommate is letting me borrow her copies of the Hunger Games, but does anyone have a source where I can get the epilogue of Harry Potter? I understand that that is a silly question because it is Harry Potter and this is the internet, but any help would still be appreciated. I'm probably going to troll Mugglenet and look for all the post-DH JKR interviews where she talks about the babies that everyone has. Feel free to tell me all your thoughts on babies/these series/YA lit in general that I can appropriate for this paper.
I managed to watch very little this weekend because...new Sims expansion pack where I was the dopest fairy ever...but I did manage to watch Arrow. David Nutter, I will never doubt your commitment to sparkle motion sibling incest. Ollie doesn't even have a sister in the comics and I already think he's gonna jump her bones before he jumps Dinah's. This new guy is not as pretty as Justin Hartley, but Katie is the prettiest princess ever and makes up for it. I look forwards to fishnets and angry sex.
There is undoubtedly other stuff I wanted to say, but I have to go to a meeting and I'm already behind on stuff for this so I can't be late too.
OH! Right, most exciting part of my day: woken up at 4:30 am by the damn fire alarm going off. It continued to go on and off for like an hour. Why did I want to live on campus again? Yeah, I don't know either.
