You know that video where Bush gives a speech and some guy in the audience starts throwing shoes at him?
Today I felt like the shoe guy.
In Speech Class we're doing persuasive speeches (I don't feel good, so I got to class early and teacher's petted so I could go on Wednesday) and someone gave a speech on why gay people shouldn't be allowed to be married. On a technical level, the speech was AWFUL. It was horribly organized, there was no logical follow through, it was just a mess of the English language. But she just kept saying things like "You wouldn't want your kid to be gay. Not that there's anything wrong with being gay" and "I mean, how would you feel if you were giving up your kid and it was adopted by gay people? It's okay to be gay, but I wouldn't want that." And talking about how gay people couldn't reproduce, like liking boobs is what made me infertile. I was so ready to punch her in the face, you can't even believe.
In additional WTF news, I have an overwhelming need to write Glee fic. IDEK.
I have vicoden. It makes me happy. I still cannot blame it for the Glee fic.
