So, over at ONTDP there was an article posted today which published some ever-so-helpful tips from "Christian" guys who were generous enough to mansplain the meaning of modesty for us poor, airheaded wimminz, and how it's the secret to successfully avoiding sexual assault.

It really didn't help to read that my old hometown's rape rate has jumped 25%, and the local government is getting into some good old-fashioned victim-blaming. -_-;;

fffffffffff like seriously? Seriously? How do otherwise sane, rational people find the wherewithal to look at a crime and tell off the victim for living life as free and equal members of society?

Cops would get FIRED for asking a rich guy who gets robbed at knifepoint or gunpoint the questions that are routine for rape victims.

We all understand that wearing a Rolex does not mean you don't care about losing money. Having a beer or 2 with your boys doesn't mean you're asking to get mugged, and a history of philanthropy does not make it ok to expect you to just give out money and property all over the place to whoever asks.

Yet, we still grill women who have been raped about how short their skirts were, how much they drank and how promiscuous they may be.
