Not gonna lie - I have a soft spot for the guy. Fangirled him hard as a teen, so my first thought on the "news" was that it's about friggin' time that he owns it.

Then again, he comes from a culture that puts huge pressure on men to be uber-alpha. That makes it harder for people to feel comfortable with coming out. A gay Puerto Rican teen was decapitated and burned late last year, and the local law enforcement just blamed his "lifestyle."
