Well, I can say you taking 'my boyfriend' wasn't something that particularily worried me, but you can lay your worries to rest, I really don't think you are trying to do that.....(I shall insert the idea that I am grinning here, since you cannot hear the grin in my voice)
No prob Lavender. Glad to be of, um, assistance? And if it is what's her face you are worried about (and since all the gossip has been lately about you know who breaking up with you know who) they broke up. So there is no boyfriend involved. And anyways, who owns anyone else??? (Serious signs of insecurities or something).
So I would be more concerned that you don't go stealing my boyfriend. Much more of a worry....(I aught to be disturbed even writing that...but I am laughing to hard to be disturbed.)
I'm not really worried. It was just a bit disheartening to meet a nice guy and have a good chat with him, someone I would like to be friends with, and then have to deal with a bit of a scene.
I'm honestly not clear on what's up between them, but I just don't think going for a walk with someone should be a big deal, whether they've got a girlfriend or have just broken up with one or whatever. It doesn't matter, though. If he doesn't want to be friends because of this, well, that's his affair. But I'll be friends with whomever I like.
You silly boy! And there's no reason to be disturbed - you're secure enough in yourself to write things like that, which is good. Some boys aren't. And I promise I'll be good to him when I've taken him away!
Ew, why did Bulstrode say that?! She's such a cow, really! I mean, I'd feel bad saying that if it was someone else, but she's Bulstrode and a Slytherin, what else is there to say? Plus, the only reason she's so mean is probably because she's got low self-esteem! You're pretty and popular; you've got NO reason to have it!
Cathy's probably just jealous because she still likes Nicky - I think a lot of girls do that with their ex-boyfriends! I know I do that whenever my old boyfriend gets a new girlfriend... It's just how it is!
You're sweet, Tabitha. Popularity isn't a guarantee against low self-esteem, though - I'm horrible to keep this up, but Cathy's really popular, for example. And I'm not all that popular. And Bulstrode only said it because I was letting Cathy and Melissa give me a makeover. I don't know. I never know what to make of Bulstrode. Ugh.
I don't completely blame Cathy, though. I mean, I probably shouldn't have written that note - or made it public, anyway. But it was late and I really didn't think it mattered. I should have known it would worry her. But honestly! The way people jump to conclusions around here! I shouldn't have to be careful about who I talk to just because some people are going to get jealous!
Yes, yay chocolate! Thank goodness for that. I shall blow up like a Puffskein by exams, but at least I'll be happy! Are you going to the Three Broomsticks to get a drink? Parvati and I'll probably be there before we go back to the castle.
Thanks! Yeah, Cathy is popular, I don't know, I think I just meant you. I think you're pretty popular! I mean, you're really cool - who else doesn't like you besides Cathy? and that only just started!
I just think Bulstrode's a full-on mean cow, and that's all I try to make of her! She doesn't give one much else to work with, you know! Besides, you looked really nice.
Nah, they're just nutters. Cathy would have found out and gotten mad no matter what, trust me! There was nothing wrong with that note! Don't worry about it, I mean, Nicky's allowed to have more friends than that blonde girl who never talks! What's her name again??
I'm glad someone shares my chocolate philosophy! And yeah, I probably will! See you there!
I don't know if anyone else dislikes me, but the whole "Oh no, you talked to my boyfriend, you slag!" thing has happened before. Go figure. It doesn't matter, though.
I know Bulstrode's awful. It's just that her little messages are so neatly written, so carefully worded, that you can't get her on anything. UGH.
Megan Jones? She's such a sweet girl. And you're right, it really isn't a big deal. I probably should have made it private anyway, just to be considerate, but it was hardly a profession of undying love!

I'm... really sorry for the way I overreacted yesterday, I didn't mean to embarrass anyone, but I guess I did... all three of us. And I'm sorry.
I just... well, we broke up three days ago, now, and it's just hard to deal with, especially since he usually doesn't go out of his way for people and we were together for five and a half months and it's hard to get out of habits and when you're upset everything seems even like more of an indignity than when you're not. That was a run-on sentence, and I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to make you feel... bad, or anything.

It's alright, Cathy - run-on sentences happen to everyone.
I'm just kidding. It really is alright. If I'd been thinking, I would have made that note private; that would have been the considerate thing to do. I just wasn't thinking, I suppose. I can't say I know anything about break ups, but I can imagine, and - well, I'm sorry. Nicky's a great guy, and I'm sure it must be hard.
If it helps any, I really do mean it. I'd like very much to be Nicky's friend, but I definitely wouldn't dream of trying to run off with him scant days after he broke up with you. I really hope that things work out for you.

Yeah, I know I get unbearable sometimes - or, whatever, I'm unbearable most of the time. I didn't mean to be like that towards you, though. He really is a very sweet boy, and you should ask him about Winnie and what exactly it is that she calls him. He'll scowl and it'll be a little scary, but it'll be funny, too.
I hope things work out too because this is really hard.
I don't know, Lavender. You kind of have a history of stealing boyfriends. I don't blame her for being upset. Even though Nicky's a royale arsehole and I can't believe she wasted so much time on him in the first place. Even if you aren't stealing anybody's ex-boyfriend, I think you should stay away from him because he's a big bottle of indifference when he's not trying to hurt his ex-girlfriend or make her jealous.
I don't blame her for being upset either. I readily admit I was inconsiderate and not thinking. But that wasn't just for her.
And I don't think Nicky's trying to hurt anyone or make anyone jealous. But then, I don't think he's an indifferent jerk either, and it's not really my business. I wasn't involved, so I'm not going to try not to make any judgments. I was just - both amused and annoyed by the fact that people seem to think I'm a boyfriend thief when I'm nothing of the sort.
I still don't know...after all, weren't you trying to steal Dean from Seamus a few weeks ago? And now Nicky? Come on...out with your little scheme, since we all know you're a huge boyfriend-stealer.
It is, after all, an amusing thought.
Nicky's...well, I'm obviously biased. He did give me a swollen jaw and a bruised ego (with insanely low blows, I'll have you know). But in your lack of judgement-making, you are ever more graceful than I am. I hate the guy.
Alright, then, I admit it. I'm out to steal everyone's boyfriends, and their left shoes, and their kittens, too! Clever Euan, you figured out my wicked scheme. Curses, foiled again . . . !
I said trying not to make judgments. After all, I really only have part of a side of a story, and what I've been able to figure out, so I figure, I don't know enough to judge fairly. Doesn't mean I'm not making teeny tiny little judgments . . . Trying. Trying not to.
I heard something about that, yes. I do hope you're feeling about that, by the way. I don't blame you for being biased. I'd be less than forgiving if someone had punched me, too.
