Okay, first of all the Glee Live show was PHENOMENAL. I have yet to get all eleventy-hundred pictures loaded onto my computer but when I do, I shall post the good ones. I think my face broke during those 2 and a half hours, because I could. not. stop. grinning. like. an. idiot.

Also fun was our little pre-show meet-up where we were able to freely fan-girl to our hearts' content, and the hubs stood around and watched and rolled his eyes a lot (but was amazingly tolerant, because he's amazing.)

Highlights of the trip:
-The 24 hours in the car did not seem as long as I originally thought they would. I was too excited to care on the way there (and also may have slept on and off for the last four or so hours of the trip), and I really only got tired of being in the car about 8 hours into the trip home. Not bad, if you ask me.
-IT WAS SO FLIPPING HOT IN DC THAT DAY. But we were able to stay in air condition for a lot of the time, so that was nice.
-I got to see Julia Child's kitchen in the National Museum of American History.
-Meeting fangirls, in general. That was pretty fun.
-Seeing our seats for the first time. I was flipping out. They were a lot better than I'd expected, so that was quite nice.
-Watching the cast walk out onstage for Don't Stop Believing ... that's when my face started breaking.
-Being in the same room and breathing the same air as Darren Freaking Criss. I'm still not over that.
-Um, the Single Ladies' Dance, anybody? HOT.
-The fact that Darren DIDN'T DIE when he got pulled off the stage by some weird psycho chick. People are cray-cray.

Other things going on right now:
-I have writer's block. I'm working on one-shots, but they're coming soooooo slowly.
-My cold is nearly gone, but I'm still coughing like CRAZY. So bad that the muscles in between my ribs are aching. Decidedly not fun.
-When we got back from DC, our air conditioner was broken. It stayed 85 degrees or above in my house until today when they came to fix it.
-My puppy just peed on her humongous blanket that's too big to fit in my washing machine. *sigh* Pet problems.
-My sister's wedding is insane. But I need a whole other post to cover it, so I'm not even going to go into details. Let's just suffice it to say that I'll be lucky if I make it out of the experience unscathed. *sigh again*

Okay. Going to try to go write.
