chipper's not the only one who thinks that the scratching mat is just as good for napping. molly
and emily. all that long hair makes her look bigger than she is. it reminds me of a t-shirt i saw once that had a picture of a long-haired cat and said "i'm not fat i'm fluffy!"
chipper is at the vet's right now - he'll have an exam and x-rays to see if the tumors have shrunk and if everything looks good he'll have his second chemo today too. he'll be there for a couple of hours for that. there are several different drugs used in chemo at different times, the one he'd have this week is different than the one he had before and the vet said that sometimes this kind is hard on them. somehow i'd thought it was all going to be as easy for him as the first one was. i hope it won't be too bad.
eta - chipper just came home from the vet. he's responding to the chemo and his tumor has shrunk a little! :D
he's certainly happy to be home. he's just as happy and lively as he was last night when he chased emily across the living room. i was worried that the chemo would make him feel sick this time and the vet said it might a little tomorrow but right now he's fine. he hasn't gained any weight yet but he hasn't lost any more either so that's a relief.
i know it doesn't mean he's going to be cured, the chemo is just to give him a good quality of life but just the fact that it's working and doing that and i have a happy, affectionate cat makes me happy. i just want him to enjoy his life for however long i have him and so far he is.
