Creative Weekend......Spring Buds
Had a very busy, creative and art filled
weekend with friends. An old friend from
my undergrad art school days was in NYC
and it was great to see her and catch
some of the Armory weekend art fairs
and gallery show events here in NYC.
I also started a watercolor class
at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and
made me inspired to explore watercolor
more along with exploring acrylics
after years of using oils. I have 2
more classes there.
I feel the weekend helped me feel
inspired to do my own art and was
a reminder of the importance of seeing
art and sharing with other artists is
to my own art and creativity.
Lovely early Spring weather this week-sunny
50s and excited for it. Crocuses were
peaking out in the garden all purple buds and
leaves last week. Time to plan for Ostara
and make my Spring altar.
