So I was thinking about music. I was thinking about what first really sparked my interest in it as kid. I'm not cool, I didn't hear Metallica or KoRn at the ripe young age of five, and instantly love it. No, I think the first album I ever bought was Now 4. The main reason was the song "All The Small Things" by Blink-182. There were a few others, on it I wanted too, "I'm Blue" by Eifel 65 of course, and yes, I did like "Larger Than Life" by the Backstreet Boys. But anyway, I was really looking back at all those days and just remembering when I used to wake up every morning and jump on my skateboard and go skate with Corey and Joseph, all the kids of my neighborhood. I remember Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, and how it basically became our lives for a few years. I remember the first time we got on a Quarter Pipe and how crazy it was. So I went on Youtube, and watched the video for the song, and I posted this comment:
"3rd grade, I'm doing my homework and listening to this song. Grab some pokemon cards, hop on my skateboard and listen to this song on the way to my friend's house. Then I get to my friends house and listen to this song. Best fucking days of my life"
God damn I miss those days...
Now, anyone knows how hard it is to get a thumbs up on Youtube. Latly I have been haveing fun with the "like" feature and just seeing how many I can get. There are a few pages where I have the highest rated comment, but it took weeks for people to vote them up that much. Well, I posted that comment last night, AND IT HAS 63. WTF.. it baffles my mind...63 in less than 24 hours. But I think its fucking awesome, cause now i know that at least 63 people feel the same way. Year 2000....god damn...I was ten years old
Heres the video, Youtube refreshes the comments every month, so by the time you see this mine may be gone. And nowadays this video is weird, but basicall the entire vid is them making fun of other popstar's MTV videos. It was hilarious in its time
