I am very proud of you. They should never have called you Joan. It wasn't a funny joke, and you emcompass so much more than the girl they all thought they knew anyway. And you're free now. Free with people who understand and love you for who you are. I'm very glad that means you get to accept yourself for who you are as well. You are truly extraordinary.
