To All My Supporters, Fans, Friends:
So, I created this comm in a lazy attempt to advertise the product of seven years' worth of life, love, and sleepless nights. Granted, I knew there were better ways, and I never expected much. I have a total of four people following this comm, most of whom likely don't even notice updates because LiveJournal, like other sites I've tried to use to this purpose, is falling into disuse, obscurity, and, eventually, obsoleteness.
Knowing this, I plan to be bull-headed and keep on posting. But I'm not going to stop at that.
I am currently several hundred words into chapter 20, which is one of the inevitable total rewrites because I am now using Atke's voice where I was using Alleya's. The moment I finish, I am going to spare one last read-through of chapters 1-3 and email them to an agent. I've already picked one out, even. And I am going to use this as inspiration to write more, faster, and better.
This is the summer that I will finish my work on Lavender and pursue publication 110%, squeezing in an extra 15% or so to work on Echo of the Whirlwind and my Japan stories.
If you've read this far, thank you. And even if you haven't, thanks anyway, because I know that, now or in the past, at some point, you supported me.
