Man, Comcast can sure be annoying. Let me take you on a journey to explain my current cable woes. About three weeks again, we complained to Comcast because we still do not have OnDemand since we first got the cable service in August. So someone comes out and tries to figure out the situation. He said it wasn't anything in the room, but actually the cable coming down from the roof. Not a problem, made an appointment with the out-sourced cable runner guy. He comes out a week later and says, yeah, that's probably it. But 'OH, you have the DVD player hooked up first? Don't do that!' So he deactivates the cable box and goes to reset it...unfortunately the system is down...Call later for a hit back to the box...he leaves. I call back and I'm on the phone for an hour since now I just have a black screen and NO channels. The woman supposedly resets it, but it didn't work. So I call back the next day. This woman was less helpful and did about half the help and said everything would be fixed in the hour, just wait. I waited. Nothing happened. This week, a new Comcast guy comes out and concludes that it's not the box, but rather the wire running down from the roof. Oh, really? So tomorrow I have another appointment with the out-sourced cable guy...AHHHHH. So annoying. I really hope I'm not in an infinite loop of customer support. I'll let you all know how it goes. I have a feeling he's going to come out and say 'oh yeah, that's the problem. We can schedule an appointment to fix it next month.'

I went food shopping. That took my mind off the cable issues. It was actually an odd experience at Genuardi's today. Everything that I normally buy was on sale! Crazy. I definitely took advantage of this. Let's take a look at the results. The total bill turned out to be $130.61, but after swiping the member card, it went down to $87.67, which is a difference of $42.94 or a savings percentage of 33%. I'm quite proud of that. I think I'm set with food for about three weeks.

Tea was 'buy one, get one free' so I have also increased my tea collection today. Now my tea selections include:

Vanilla Chai
Spiced Chai
Orange Spice
Green Tea
Oolong Tea
Black Pearl
White with Island Mango & Peach
Bavarian Wild Berry
Vanilla Caramel Truffle
Roobios Tropica
Spice of Life
Pure Peppermint
Cranberry, Raspberry & Elderflower
Lemon & Ginger
Echinacea & Raspberry
Camomile & Spiced Apple
Blackcurrant, Ginseng & Vanilla

Come on over, we'll have a tea party and eat some cucumber sandwiches ^_^
