I'm not like you so when you try to understand me
your wasting your time
you cant see how i see
your view is not mine
you shoe size surpasses
the length of my stride
your the seeker
to my hide
because its not just attract
the job of the opposite
its a different piece of a puzzle
maybe made to fit
but you have to let it fit
forced pieces show nothing
but a false picture
with no truthful ring
and the more you try
the frustration builds
so you increase pressure
hoping I'll yield
but not knowing me
you efforts are in vain
because as you begin to wax
ill begin to wane
but if you accept
what i say as true
and let me be me
instead of me being you
and let you be you
instead of you being me
then a whole new us
we'll begin to see
and growing together
will be our new start
we'll pull together
not push apart
to support
you dont have to understand
