I haven't been posting much. What can I say, it was a period of hermitage. Life is good, though - I'm filming a wedding scene for an episode of The L Word tomorrow, doing some recording with
Emaline Delapaix if the dates ever get sorted out, and I'm leaving the country on the 30th. FOREVER.
Actually no, I can't remember if I've told everyone about this - although I probably have - but I'm going to Cork, Ireland for most of July and August
to learn ancient Greek. Why yes, I do have the geekiest holidays ever, why do you ask? :D
I'm getting ready to go. So far I have:
- bought plane tickets
- ensured that my tuition arrived
- figured out how to access money while there
- done my homework
- bought a guidebook thingie
- acquired a passport, omg gongshow
- quit my job
So far I have not:
- packed, ahahaha
- seen any of the people I need to see before I leave
- figured out the train system
- done any number of other things that I've probably forgotten
This sort of thing is why I don't usually travel. Also, it's expensive. I'm going to blog and email and take pictures a lot while I'm there, I hope, until I fall back into School Panic Mode, so y'all should pay attention now, y'hear? :D
