Avast, me hearties. I am in fact alive, though occasionally regretting it these days. Blah.

1. Hamlet reading tomorrow and Friday! Wear black! Come!

2. Bellydance tonight. Ow, I am out of shape. Not good, Neve.

3. I have several things to say about Bard on the Beach's rendition of The Winter's Tale. To wit:

- All maternity dresses should look like that. Rowr.

- THAT was all you could come up with for a bear? Please.

- Directors of the world take note: when Time says,

"I, that please some, try all, both joy and terror
Of good and bad, that makes and unfolds error,
Now take upon me, in the name of Time,
To use my wings",

it is a metaphor. Look it up. It is not necessary to ACTUALLY PUT YOUR LONG-SUFFERING ACTOR IN WINGS. Especially if they're crappy low-budget ones and not Angels in America wings.

- Similarly, please do not have all your actors strung out across the centre of the stage like birds on a washline. It's annoying, especially when you try to be symbolic.

- Beshrew my heart, but I do love this play.

(Julie Taymor should make a film. Yes. *nods*)

EDIT: VENTERSALTATRIX!
