hark how the bells
wow..havent posted in a while..feelin pretty relaxed right now..just had a spoonful of M&M cookie dough and listenin to some ciirrazzy "Bossa Nova" music..whatever that is..it's kinda cool..
..check out the new pic..it was at the petal v. OG game..not a real difficult shot..i like the hard-to-get mullets better...he pretty much stayed turned around..but just for safety measures, i did make kels pose behind him as if i was takin a pic of her:)..fun stuff..
today was kinda ok..well now that i think of what to write about it..it actually wasnt that great..im sick..its the first time i have been since they've had me on 2 billion meds..mom says "u dont get enough sleep & u havent been gettin your allergy shots..bad lauren"..oh well...and mom & i got in a big argument this mornin on the way to church..we never seriously argue..oooh but we SERIOUSLY did..i love her & she's one of my best friends..but she just makes assumptions about me & she thinks that anyone who doesnt completely agree w/ her is BAADDD..i just dont find that cool..but w/e...after me throwin my eyeliner & cryin profusely cuz of bein sick AND arguin, i think we kinda ended up agreein to disagree....yeaah so i went to church w/ no eyeliner, swollen eyes, and a hard heart..pitiful...and the typical sunday events followed...i pray the thanksgiving week starts lookin up - as of now, im sick, i hafta do a booklet, and im havin surgery..hmmmm
but one thing that certainly made me giggle today..my buddy lau used her handy dandy little paint program to doodle on a pic we found on the net of a couple who we arent too thrilled is together..i must say her artwork was splendid!:)
..i talked to a few old friends today..it was cool talkin to all of them..and i might get to see evan & chris over the break:)
we're goin to jackson & vicksburg friday..jackson cuz its on the way there and i hafta look at their mall for an infamous suit & black dress for jr miss..bleh..oooooh yea..speakin of suit..sat. after voice, mom and i went to the pageant shop in laurel where im rentin my jr miss gown from to look at some of their suits again..i found one that i want and guess how much it is?! just guess! OVER 400 DOLLARS! i was like "whaaaa?!"...now i know suits are expensive..but..*agh*..all this money and i prolly wont even get a scholarship:(poor mom...ANNYYWAAY..that was my *gasp* paragraph for the night...oh yes, and vicksburg..my uncle who is an amazing bass player & writer and lives in nashville again is playin w/ some group at some casino in vicksburg..it's the closest they'll be so we're goin..im excited...we just hope i can get in..
we finished the opener w/ mike..it's gonna be cooool..but i still havent figured out how we're gonna wear those red dresses w/ all those legs goin everywhere
a note to my lil black-headed danerrr - "gurl u scared me to death. got me all shookin up on my birfday. i didnt know if it was broken or wut so i..u like my brooks & dunn shirt? mawmaw got it for me. purrty niice huh? harrharr..oooo gurrl them moccasins is tiiight! i luv them gurrrl..." -oh the beauty of south mississippi - large, toothless women sportin a fiiiine 1980s brooks & dunn tee..aah
ooooh yes..and to that psycho (whose name i cant say cuz it would hurt someone else) who wanted to know if i would "hook up" with u..have u lost your freakin mind?!..u appall me..if u need more details u can call me...ugggghh..
wow i just looked down to see what time it is..i guess all the naps today have screwed my sleep..gone to bed..
p.s. - matthew rainey has officially gone down as one of tha coolest cats i know;)
