i have a wonderful father
The Lord gave me a word last week, and mostly I want to hide it in my heart. But part of it is so pertinent, so beautiful. It is a call to life.
He told me that we are His bride. I am His bride.
Take a moment to realise the enormity of that.
Not a servant.
Not people who fail to please Him.
Not someone whom He is angry at or disappointed in.
More than a friend.
The Bride. The blood-bought Bride of the Son of God.
He wants me to act like that is who I am. I gotta start acting in response to my identity. Not responding to how I feel or what the world tells me.
The desired one of Christ. His beloved. His darling. Christ's love.
He has called each to this. And I will walk in that because it's who I truly am.
You shall love Me... you shall love Me....you shall love Me.
He saw outside of time, He saw we would choose Him so He runs after us...pursues us because He knew I would love Him. {the most amazing words I've heard in a long time...thank you for sharing His heart Ms Finney}
