time line time...goodbye 2011, hello 2012
I thought I'd do a Laura Brown and depict the year in a different fashion from usual.
So here we go.
January 2011 was pretty much a whole months vacation as placement just finished. Can't really remember what I did apart from NEW YORK NEW YORK with Miss Vizzard and Yanik. Splendid times in the city walking the Brooklyn Bridge, eating at Serendipity, meeting up with some Metro friends, appearing on the 'DR OZ' show and shopping, lots of shopping. It was lovely with all the snow too :)
I also visited Glenveagh National Park (sp?) in lovely Donegal with Sarah and Rachel. Beautiful day...so cold though!
February was my 21st birthday "Geek Chic" lol...more good times with good friends :)
In March I found out that I was going to SKYE FARM CAMP to work in maintenance all summer. Back to NYC, joy joy indeed!!
There was some St Paddys day fun with church...
April...May....June were all a bit of a blur so clearly nothing too spectacular happened, although I managed to finish my second year of Uni! and then it was on to NY...
John and Luke...my new buddies for Skye Farm!
And Miss Natalie...
Maintenance was scary at times...
And a lot of fun too...
And i got to counsel for my last week of camp. Great fun! We also had an Oscar themed banquet!!
I co counselled with John...what a laugh!
and then we had some adventures - Boston, Philly, DC and back to NYC!
LIVED THROUGH A HURRICANE!!!!
Next I had a little adventure in Windsor!!
until home...and the last few months I didn't really take any pictures!
We did lose Sarah to Mozambique for some awesome God adventures though...
It has been a blast though. Started training which has been interesting but have met lots of new people....got stuck back into church and am now revising for finals which start on wednesday. Can't wait for this new year...better than before, always! Amen.
