In something that can only be described as an American tradition, partying unites individuals in a way no human can describe. As we grow, we understand that partying becomes more and more important in our lives and we begin to identify with our weekly endeavors into the unknown realm of a new person's house, apartment, or field. We drink ‘Nati and Busch, along with Miller and Bud, and even sometimes the occasional Newcastle or Heiny. Sometimes we will have to drink LaSalle, others we get to taste Absolut.

No matter what, we come together as a common group and possibly turn into a new version of ourselves. You'll see the guy who wants to fight everyone, the girl (or guy) who just can't keep her hands (or body) off of the other sex, the guy who throws the sunglasses on and makes himself the Gandhi of chill, the girl (or guy) who just seems to pass out 30 minutes into the night, the guy (or girl) who just seems to laugh the entire night, the guy who can't seem to stop talking about how they consumed 30 beers, 40 shots, and 2 Smirnoff's (only because there was no real alcohol left) although humanly impossible, and finally , the guy who just seems to be comic genius after chugging his share of beers. You could one or many of these people, you might not be any of them at all, but you are whoever you want yourself to be because parties are a brand new place to be yourself.

The way we drink is just as important. Although Beer Pong is my favorite of the drinking pastimes, we find many ways to drink away the night while making a game out of it. You may be playing Edward Fortyhands, Asshole, Quarters, maybe even Cornhole. If you are lucky enough, you can get a kegstand going but kegs should always be known as rare events that should be taken advantage of if at all possible.

So I preach to you, any and all readers, enjoy the partying and learn the ways of an American tradition before you go on to the true party test, college. Some may find this worthless while others may find it enjoyable, this needed to be statement. Enjoy this Senior year before it ends and we go onto the next stage of your life and hit up the next party you hear about. The nearest one is never far away.
