Interesting:

You NEVER send a school schedule; you NEVER include me in anything in your life since 8th/9th grade; you NEVER have acknowleged a birthday/holiday of anykind SINCE birth; you NEVER communicate to me after YEARS of my attempts to communicate to you... wow, you DO have some nerve. Maybe you ought to re-evaluate your seed...

this isnt about givin up. i assume you love her, so thus you respect her...so in essence, i think its about respecting her, and her wishes...its not giving up, you just have to accept certain things and respect others for what they want. its this way in all relationships...

and i dont have to be a parent to understand that.

Or at least make it friends only.

I don't know the whole story, but Lauryn pretty much loves people with all she's got. So if she doesn't love you, you're probably NOT worth loving in her eyes. Bothering her about it really isn't going to make her opinion of you any higher.
