I'm teaching a 7th grade advanced literate class. We are going to be reading The House of the Scorpion. I need some help thinking about the final project for the book. I'm thinking holding a debate although I've never facilitated one before and I'm unsure how to go about guiding the students.

Just looking for suggestions/resources for getting them started.
