(no subject)
Wow, I'm getting so excited about heading down to Reno for a 4 day weekend. I think it is going to be a great way to celebrate Johns birthday. He's never been there and I love Reno... and just the two of us away for 4 days.... mmmmm nice! Only 12 more days and yes I am doing the count down on Facebook... hehe
I'm also getting very excited about our new home... I am going to start packing stuff up little by little so I don't have to do it all at once.. We have a lot of stuff that we really don't use or need for the next little while so we can get it all packed up.
My job is going very well. I absolutely LOVE being a travel agent. It is amazing! And I can't believe the loads of money that is there just waiting to be had. It's great. Yeah a took a huge pay cut to go to this job salary wise, but my commission is totally making up for it. So that has worked out as well! Not to mention the company I am with as put in place a new guaranteed yearly salary. So if your base salary and your commission doesn't give you the guaranteed salary they will top you up at the end of every year. I think that is really cool... but there is really no reason why your commission wouldn't make up for it! *shrug*
The boys are doing great. Bryton is in school, and trying to get a part time job. Although, he hasn't tried very hard since I printed out his resumes but he hasn't really handed them out... When he wants a job I guess he'll get one.
Corbin is one busy busy boy. He is in school and working two jobs. So he is always doing something. He is going to put in his two weeks notice at McDonalds once his 90 days are up at Stream. Since he is making $11.00per hour at Stream and only $8.50 at McDonalds. He wanted to quit McDs earlier but I told him he had to atleast pass his 90 days with Stream just to be safe. So he is doing the count down for that because right now the poor kid doesn't even have one full day off for himself. He's either at school or working on every single day of the week.... so I completly understand where he is coming from... But I also want him to learn responsibility as well as the fact that if you job hop it looks bad on your resume. So in the long run this 3 months will be worth it.
So all in all everything is going great~ I hope everyone else is doing good as well.. Let me know when ya'll can come up and visit.... with our new place we have a common area that has a pool table, ping pong and fooze ball table too... so we can play pool for free!~ heheh
