i was probably going to complain here about having to go to the dentist, but after
airen's post complaining about anything seems rather shallow. i was already kind of in one of those moods like 'i'm-so-lucky-that-it-makes-me-a-real-bitch-to-be-complaining-about-anything' . i'm sure it will wear off in a couple of days and i'll be back to my usual self-centered, westernised, spoilt bitchy self :D. goodo.
in the meantime. (damn, what DOES she have to say that isn't complaining??) no. in the meantime, things are pretty good. i don't have work again until thursday, so i have a nice little three-day break in which to do some of those OTHER things i should be doing, like tidying my room, going for driving lessons, going to the dentist, seeing people i've been neglecting, etc etc. and reading. a LOT. thank the lord for anne bishop. you know how every once in a while you come upon a series of books so good, you wish the series would just go on forever, and there were more books and more of the characters and more of the story. and then, when you'd practiaclly accepted that everyone but you had moved on, you find out the author HAS ACTUALLY WRITTEN ANOTHER NOVER OF ADDITIONAL STORIES FROM THE SERIES. and you happen to come across it in your library, purely by chance. and fall upon it with much gleeful rejoicing. and then it is SO GOOD that you actually STOP READING IT for a while, just before the end, because you DON'T WANT TO FINISH IT so much. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. good. mmmmm, book. or maybe that's just me. anyway, hooray for the black jewels trilogy, and for the follow up novel(:D), Dreams Made Flesh. kate, you totally have to get it, and read it, sometime, eventually. SOMEHOW. and then we can both fawn over characters together. and no one else will understand what we're going on about. rejoice!
wow, that rant was longer than i expected. but it made me happy. there you go, see? i am happy. *touches wood*. :D.
uhm, more later, dinner now
sorry to leave abruptly
