new idea
note: 3 exams down, one to go.
right! as of now, or, as of the time i had this thought, i'm going to TRY to make my lj marginally more interesting......so now we will have five things every update. of a certain genre, as specified, in a cut. for an example, today's:
1. questionable content. mmm, webcomicry. great two newest strips at the moment, #'s 490 and 491, featuring, for those already in the know, raven and her impressive hooters, pintsize's wet t-shirt competition, and the possibility of faye's third nipple. (it's not actually all about sex, i swear, just these strips happen to be. read it. it's funny.).
2. toxic custard. i haven't been to this site in a little while, but it is remarkably funny in certain parts. i recommend the carefully photo-documented destruction of the author's troublesome VCR, and also the 'toxic history of the world'. the reinterpretation of the battle of Salamis as the 'battle of salami' featuring the 'curse of the delicatessen god' kept me going through irritating ancient history study before my last exams.
3. digital blasphemy. for pretty pretty pictures.
4. Gorillaz. (requires flash) yes, the band. doesn't matter if you like the music, the website is a wicked interactive flash walkthrough, of the kind i dream about making. can take a little time to load, but definately worth it for interest and weird stuff. click on everything. for extra procrastination points, play mah-jong (click on the mah-jong can on the coffee table in the lobby) or the fit game (in the left-hand cupboard in the bedroom in murdoch's winnebago, which you'll find in the garage, which i think is in the basement. use the lift.) for HOURS. HOURS I TELL YOU.
5. How To Dress Emo 2.0 i found this when i was looking up.....how to dress emo (no really?). knowing my friends, one or other of you might get a laugh out of it, it is kind of funny. and for any of you considering adopting emo-ness, a good starter's guide, maybe...
