I think I need to drink more
Sometimes I think I work too hard to be going to such an un-glamorous university like Xavier. For all this work I could have a Harvard degree. Yeesh.
This week is going to be trying, to say the least. 2 exams, 1 presentation, dr. appt. for a TB test, paper for theology, work, not getting to go home till Monday even though spring break starts on Friday, and to top it off I have to testify against my room mate's asshole ex boyfriend at a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday between taking an exam and getting to class. It's been a long few months with her and finally I think we're going to get her ex expelled. We have a very strong case against him but it is still going to be very emotional... she's gone through more than any person I've met and I'm so glad it's finally almost over. I just hope my testimony doesn't shake me up too much cause I have an exam to take and then I have to get to a class for an exam review. Keep me and my room mate in your thoughts on Tuesday.
In other (sort of) happier news I was asked to work the Atlantic 10 tourney that Xavier is hosting this year. This is good because the head trainer asked me to work this (BROWNIE POINTS!) and she is literally paying for me to work because the dorms close on Friday but the tourney is through Monday, so she's paying for me to stay in the dorms. This is bad because spring break starts on Friday and I don't get to go home till Monday night late, and not only am I not going to be home I'll be working 12 hours or more four days in a row (not paid). Grumble. I better damn well get assigned to a good team next year.
When do we graduate, again?
I went to a Coach outlet this weekend and got a beautiful white leather handbag for $80 off. I am very happy about this. :-)
