Bugger!
I forgot to pay my credit card yesterday on-line (due yesterday)until yesterday, but it was after 1:00pm so they are charging me a thirty-nine dollar late fee.
And I don't know if that will kick up interest, since it won't count until today. Shoot, I always pay off the whole she-bang every month, so there isn't any interest to pay. They posted that there was an eighty-four dollar fee pending, and that's more than the late fee. I'm afraid they are going to sneak in me paying interest on the late fee, or something. I paid off everything we owed, not just what was in the statement that was due yesterday, hoping to avert murky charges. Usually, I get twenty to thirty-five dollars reduced off the bill because of rebates on the gas and purchases, so I try and use the card a lot, just make sure it's paid off. I've now signed up for an email alert so this doesn't happen again. Still... BUGGER!
And I had a nice big panic yesterday night as I sleepily went to save and close the last part of
A Sea-Change and the computer asked me something about a template and I evidently hit the wrong button because the whole extremely long Word document disappeared. Cue me waking up in a jolt, adrenaline pumping down to my fingers and toes, because, I'm done with this story, just editing it, and it's 326KB. I found it in the trash bin, but then when I moved it out of there, I couldn't locate it in my Word document file. I did eventually find it again, after using Search, but Jeezy Peezy, I was flipping wide awake at that point.
So I read a really well done fic by Kikkimax recommended by Crack Van,
Defect and it was good and long and wonderful, even though I've never seen either of the two shows it crossed,(Criminal Minds and Supernatural),and I stayed up till three in the morning reading it. I've always loved Kikkimax's sentinel stories and she ain't lost her touch with her newer stuff.
I slept in late, am foggy brained and kind of cranky. So I need to get my ass in gear, which is why I'm once again writing down my to do list for the next two and a half days. (Not working Monday morning). I worked 54 hours this week on the job, not counting commuting time, which isn't helping with the tuckered-outness. But I will be able to have enough of my job for the month completed to take time off around Memorial Day Weekend.
house chores
vacuum, dust, bathroom surfaces, toilet, shower, laundry(wash, put away), windows, sink, stove, refrig, oven, sweep kitchen, sweep kitchen and bathroom, mop kitchen and bathroom, dishes, bleach porch railings, move plants outside, this will have to wait since my husband has informed me the tempature is supposed to drop to the thirties tomorrow night water plants, wipe off table, take out compost and wash the container, transplant seedlings, work in garden, go through more old videos to weed out the moldy ones.

So, off to get started. First thing is to download some podfic...
ETA Okay, It's Monday evening, and I worked seven hours today, plus another hour and a half of commuting. I could have mopped the floors when I got home at eight o'clock, but instead I'm going to watch an Angel DVD... What? I'll mop the floor tomorrow. Other stuff I didn't get done I'll try to finish during this week. Also, finished editing A Sea-Change Part Four and sent it off to
t_verano who is whimpering reading it tonight and gave me a mid read report. Angst ahoy, maties.
