::squeal of joy!!::

That will be something to look forward to and a nice bonus for Caro. So far I haven't settled on a plot, but it will be an AU on a different planet.

Thanks so much, Patt. When I get it written I'll send it to you.

You take care of yourself, you hear.

Oh how exciting. I can't wait. And we'll get some great art to go with it. :)

I will take care of myself. Or at least I'll try.

I'm trying my hand at a Supernatural fic for NaNoWriMo. Along with learning how to handle a newborn. But let me know if you need a beta for the Avengers sequel. Or even just a sounding board.

Ah, new baby. Love those snuggly baby days. Boy or girl? Hope you're getting enough sleep, those early days seem to go by in a blur.

But yes, I'll sure take you up on the offer to beta the sequel, but with the understanding on my part that it's fine to bail out on it, if you need to. No worries or pressure, okay?

I'm at 25,000 words so far, and I haven't gotten to where the epiloug ended in the first story. So far it's mostly the other guys reactions and actions to Bruce's decision and Bruce's video. I'm going for a sort of outsider POV for a lot of this, might switch back to Bruce at the end. The third story will be Bruce's POV.

And good luck with NaNoWrMo. I'd think about doing it if it wasn't during this time of the year. Too much stuff to do for getting ready for holidays for me to try it.

A girl. Shannon. Sleep is getting easier. She is just about to hit six weeks and has figured out daytime and nighttime so we get about a 4 hour stretch starting at midnight. Of course sometimes I just can't sleep so that doesn't help.

I think for the most part I'm just happy to have her here...we had a bit of a scare at the beginning and she ended up in the NICU for a week. So I will happily not sleep just so long as she's here with us.

I'm looking forward to reading the story. I will, of course, let you know if I can't do the beta.

NaNo is going slow (as usual) but I'm enjoying the story so far so that helps.

I've always said that you don't know what fear really feels like until you become a parent.

Shannon is a beautiful name.

I'll send the story along after I get it done. I've been writing the Bruce/Clint EMH one for the last few days but I'm almost at the stopping point I wanted, and then I'm switching back to the sequel.

Good luck with baby and writing,

Laurie

Wow, you do sound busy.

In my family Thanksgiving is usually for the inlaw families and then we get together at Christmas.

I have lots of projects but most of them tie back into getting clever or getting a job.

Figuring out what we're doing is like herding cats.

Good luck on the job front. And I'm glad you survived Sandy.

It's an interesting dynamic. The cartoon has a lot of vibes between the two of them. Not always sweetness and light, Clint can be blunt and pushy.

I've read some good movie verse stories with that pairing, too.
