Okay, where am I at with stuff?
Podfics
I've recorded 'The Conversation' by Lady Ra (SGA for Moonridge), but it's not edited yet. I'm going to practice record 'Lucky Bastards' by Lady Ra, (NCIS, SG1 for Moonridge) tonight.
'Point of Contact' by Jane Davitt: I'm editing (still!). I'm on 10/14 files. It should end up to be twelve to thirteen hours long. It's also a Moonridge podfic.
'Bent Justice' by Katb. (Buffy/Angel human AU for Moonridge) I've practice recorded the whole shebang, which ended up to be twenty-nine files, so it should be about twenty-eight to thirty hours long when I'm done. I'm now listening to the practice recording, up to file ten, so far. This one's a monster and a half. When I get it done, I'm going to feel like I've planted a flag on Mt. Everest. I won't be posting it anytime soon.
I need to check in with a Moonridge bidder who hasn't yet let me know which story she wants podficced. I'll be emailing her tonight.
'Somewhere to be' (TS by Arrow), needs about a half hour more of editing to do, but I'm trying to finish the Moonridge ones first so I can send them off and still have time to post them for amplificathon.
TS Secret Santa Drabble Anthology. I'm going to record the drabbles for Amplifcathon, so if you wrote some and you want in, sign the permission post, okay? I'm going to record in the second or third week in May. It's here on my lj.
I've got a Due South story I wrote,(thanks, Lady Ra, for the beta) and I want to podfic it to release it with the text, along with some fantastic art work zelempa did for it, in return for a charity donation. I need to go over the text, tonight, I hope, and get the final draft done.
I'm going to also do the rest of Bluewolf's story, 'Something Told the Wild Geese.'
I did Naomi's part, the first section for my post for Ladies Big Bang.
Stories
'A Fair Distance' The second arc, 'Ball and Chain' is almost finished. The last chapter is being gone over by my sweet beta,t_verano. The final, third arc, 'Comes a Time' is coming along. I'm on chapter thirteen and while that's going to be a long chapter, there won't be a whole lot more to write after that, maybe one to three chapters. I'm probably not going to write on it for a while, since I've got some Big Bangs coming up.
Moonridge stories: 'Aftermath' is a TS fic which deals with the decision Blair made to follow Jim after he's drowned by Alex. Bluewolf beta'ed it, wonderful person that she is. It's been sent to the very patient recipient,patk, and will be added to the next My Mongoose Ezine edition. I've sent it to pattrose.
My Mag 7/TS crossover, which still needs a title, is being beta'ed by the lovely mab_browne, and was given some additional polish for the Mag 7 side by the equally lovely sallymn. I did find the recipient who had the prompt for Moonridge 2007, and will be able to send the final draft to her. I was worried, since it took so long to get things done. It's pretty long, about 70,000 words. Hopefully, I'll be able to send it to My Mongoose Ezine for the next edition.
Big Bangs:
spacebigbang's deadline is coming up fast. I'm going to have to put a lot of effort into this story right now. 'Nor Prison Fear' is a another story in the A Glimmering from Afar series, which I wrote for last years sentinelbigbang. Word count so far:3640. Yeah. I have to get cracking on it. I have to think out the next part first though.
I signed up for 2011 sentinelbigbang, to do a sequel to A Sea-Change and I haven't written anything yet, although I've done some rough plotting and done some research. I've discussed some of the ideas with Bluewolf, who is cheerleading me, and also checked in with lilacs_roses, who is my other cheerleader. I am rich in cheerleaders, I tell you.
I have other stories I want to write,(SPN ones) but I am seriously out of time.
I think when I get these current projects done, I'm going to take a week off and do nothing but read. After that, I think I'll tackle finally re-organizing my LJ.
