Santa brought me a pony
HO, HO, HO!
Well, actually it was a vacuum cleaner, but the thrill level is about the same as if I was seven and I did get a pony.
We usually try and get something we need that improves the house, and since I've had it with my old, lousy, totally did not live up the the advertising, Oreck vacuum cleaner, I got us a new Mielle vacuum and it's here. It works quite well, so I think I'll stick a bow on it and park it by the Christmas Tree. The Christmas tree is not up yet, the house needs a lot of straightening first before I dig out the decorations.
So I've got a lot of things I could do today.
Clean
Decorate
More cleaning
Make cookies
Walk and exercise
Edit podfic (Point of Contact by Jane Davitt, for Moonridge bidders -- I'm done recording but I'm still on the first of fourteen or fifteen files to edit). I can't record anything else (Bent Justice, a Spike and Angel fic for Moonridge) until this cold I've got is finallly over. I've had it for a week now and it really wants to just keep on going.
Post stories to ffnet, ASR3 and A03.
Write a birthday ficlet for Bee. Check and see if I can use it for Patt's My Mongoose Ezine.
Write chapter three of Comes a Time, the third and last arc in a WIP (A Fair Distance).
Wrap presents. If I wasn't so brain dead last night, I could have done some of this stuff last night while I watched Supernatural, Sanctuary and Stargate Universe.
