Death Note: Fortunately I start reading it when it first published and before all the hype, so I wasn't spoiled silly. XD Seeing your post reminds me why I chose to dispose my Death Note collection in the end. It's a pity because I remembered I was so geeked out by it initally. The concept is superb, but that's where the excution of the plot falls.

It's the case similar like Bleach, if it ends with the SS arc--- if it is like the Death Note live action movie, with L's death, and then Light somehow getting screwed by L's backup plans, then I say Death Note is truly legendary. (But saying all these, I keep my Bleach. XD) I couldn't care after L's arc, with N, Near, Mello or whatever next alphabet to hunt Light down. Death Note feels like a cash cow after L is gone, and it bothered me they didn't bother to hide it.

Sick to say this but I root for Light since Chapter 1, even though I know Justice previls and he will meet his ends. Yet somehow I have this secret desire to see him rule and fuck the world silly. Death Note is a horror, so let's make it sick all the way. Buahaha. My belief in writing a thriller. On the second thought, I'm fine Light is died. It's expected. He's sick, and he deserves it. You can't blame him for not to be able to stop killing people. It's addictive, like eating like pig when we're on diet, smoking, or whatever unhealthy habits we have that we said we'll stop but we're still doing it. And it's okay. Everyone will have such moments, and if it's Light, he would say, "NEVER! I AM PERFECT! I AM GOD.". This is Light's biggest downfall, a human who has forgotten he is a human and wants to play God, ended up denying God himself. The irony of him losing his own humanity while bragging that he did everything he could to save humanity.

I always prefer Light more than L, because I know L is a fan magnet, and so I ended up rooting for the "underdog". Oh well, Light is more of my type, if I need to pick psycho. (Yes, I see L as a freak too.) It's like H&C, where I prefer Takemoto than Morita.

Howl's Moving Castle: Oh my! You finally watched it. I enjoyed it very much when it released. Well, indeed it's a different feel from the usual studio ghibli. I watched it in the cinemas three times, in Japanese. I fangirl Howl a lot because oh my, he's so vain and I forgive him, because he is just so pretty, and his voice....*fangirls* and the scene in the beginning where he brings Sophia up into the sky and he is like inviting her for a dance is just so....*fangirl* The Japanese version is Kimura Takuya so....!!!!!!!! *fangirl*

KAYA~~~~! <3

YAY YOU'RE HERE, I MISSED YOU SO MUCH! I MUST ALL-CAPS MY JOY! <3

So you sold all your Death Note?! Oh, sadness. But it's okay, I totally understand how you feel. I sold all my Bleach volumes after the SS arc, so I can pretend nothing after it exists. Moving also helped make that decision -- I had to cut my library by half.

Going back to Death Note though... hahaha, the idea of the alphabet taking down Light! It's so Sesame Street. "Justice brought to you by the letter M and N."

YAY you fangirl over Howl too. :D I think I need to watch it with subtitles now.

LOL. OH NO. I didn't even bother to sell my collections. I just put them beside my lift at the ground level, and then they're taken away within a hour. Hope the new owner enjoys it.

Ohh, you have to watch Studio Ghibli's films in Japanese. It's more in depth flavouring with Japanese, authentic and touching.

I haven't watched their latest "From Up on Poppy Hill". Looks like something I would enjoy as it sets in 60s Yokohama, then I spoiled myself silly with Wiki saying that it's a sad film. WAHHHHH~~~
