the spambots strike again
Okay, I'm really disgusted right now. I cannot begin to explain how violated I feel.
Now, I haven't posted all week because I've been busy floating in my head doing stuff that's of no particular interest to anyone. I was going to post something remotely silly but no! LJ has given me something to rant about.
Remember when I posted about the Russian spambot problem? I thought the problem died off. I'm sorry to say I've become very suspicious and that I do profile checks of everyone who randomly adds me. If the blog and the profile fits a certain pattern, I automatically ban the user from appearing in my "also friends of" list. Since the problem first popped up, I've probably added seven or eight accounts to my ban list.
But man, gimihes takes the cake. I had banned this account from appearing on my profile page because it fit the pattern. I happened to be updating my ban list tonight when I randomly re-checked this account and I WAS FUCKING SHOCKED TO SEE ONE OF MY UNPOSTED ICONS APPEARING ON THIS VILE PERSON'S BLOG.

See that little Nell icon? I made that a couple of months ago when I was trying to figure out photoshop (I'm still trying to figure out photoshop, but that's another story.) I thought it was ugly, a possible embarrassment to the Bleach fandom -- especially when there are so many awesome Bleach icons -- so I never posted it ANYWHERE. NELL HAS BEEN FESTERING IN A SUBFOLDER OF MY MEGA-HUGE ASS BLEACH FOLDER ON MY HARD DRIVE, FOLKS, SO HOW THE FUCK DID IT END UP ON THAT PAGE?!
I don't like want to be racist, but damn it, don't give me a reason to be one you know. I really don't want to hate people who use the cyrillic alphabet but come on, give me a break.
I already submitted an abuse report but it might take days for any action to happen. :(
MR. BIGGLES HAS BEEN FILE RAPED AND WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN.
I URGE YOU ALL NOW TO CLEAN OUT YOUR FRIENDS LIST NOW. BAN SUSPICIOUS ACCOUNTS FROM YOUR LJ. DO FOLLOW UPS AND SUBMIT ABUSE REPORTS AND JUST TRY TO KEEP YOUR HARD DRIVES SAFE FROM THIS SORT OF HORRIBLE INVASION.

I'M ADDITIONALLY PISSED AT MR. BIGGLES FOR BEING A MAC. YOU DISAPPOINT ME, YOU PRETTY ONE. MY SIS KEPT SINGING THE PRAISES OF HOW MACS ARE SAFER THAN PCS FROM MALWARE, VIRUSES AND BOTS. HA.
