1. Paul, because best friends make best friends happy.
2. the sight of this little kid happily eating his ice cream sandwich at Ian's ice cream shop -- it's nice to see someone eat the cookies I supply every week.
3. I. and T., because they are both nice to work with. I. challenges me on a weekly basis, egging me on to make new cookie flavors, while T. just loves making the delivery runs.
4. Franz, the new nurse/caregiver, because she's amazingly patient and handles my mom's little oddities very well.
5. Massages.
6. All my online friends because at least one of them manages to make me smile and laugh and go LALALALALA once a day.
7. My aging dog, because his quota of hugs and tummy rubs hasn't changed since puppyhood.
8. sexylosers because it's confirms my long-cherished belief that some imaginations are more sick than mine.
9. Using the crocheted bookmark that Bunnisteffi made for me, it's so pretty.
10. The painting I saw at the students exhibit last Thursday night, which I offered to buy. If it works out, I will get my first piece of art for a song, and that college kid will make his first sale. I've never bought art before, and the thought makes me giddy, and I wonder if it's reckless and if I can actually afford to do so... but what the hell.
