My family has a new generation today - my cousin Adam and his wife had their first child, Analyss. (I think that makes me a cousin once removed? Second cousin?) I haven't been around for much of the process, but I'm sooooo happy for them :o)

On the other hand, another nutcase decided to open fire at a college today too.

My great-grandmother died while I was en-route to LA...this feels very similar.
