2007 in Pictures.
As I take more and more pictures, it becomes harder and harder to narrow down the few that best document my year. It seems, generally, a lot of people didn't have the greatest of years in 2007. And although I went through the lowest of lows, I also had some of the highest of highs. This last year was most definitely a memorable one, and here were my highlights...
And my year's end top 20 list:
1. Scott's birthday weekend at the cabin, or any of the cabin extravaganzas.
2. Text messaging.
3. The summer of great friends: Jed's birthday, my birthday, Andy's BBQ, Damien's going away party, trips to Wild Waters, being Monday night drunks...
4. Being single.
5. The Dojo.
6. My car breaking down over the pass/getting broken into within two weeks.
7. My best girl friends, being there when I needed them the most. Caitlin, Diana, Stephanie, Kati, Kevyn, Corie.
8. Disneyland on my birthday with Damien, Kati and Scott.
9. Photography: being an advanced student, getting paid for jobs, having photos sold and on display, jumping pictures, color...
10. Caitlin moving to Long Beach.
11. Inheriting my cat, Milli, as my own.
12. Living alone, and my "weird Lauren things."
13. Getting a job at Newman's Deli.
14. Going to Hawaii for 2 weeks with Kati.
15. Netflix: Grey's Anatomy, The Sopranos, The L Word, Arrested Development...TV on DVD.
16. The Long Winters, Rilo Kiley, Peter Bjorn & John, Devendra Banhart, Iron & Wine, The Old Canes and oh so much more new music.
17. A lot of coffee, a lot of whiskey, and some wine.
18. UNR, and getting closer and closer to graduation.
19. Being on the set of "Little Motel," The Modest Mouse music video shot in Reno.
