THE COUNTDOWN IS ON! June 20th is my arrival date at the Disney College Program. I decided that I should make a non-personal LiveJournal that is dedicated to my whole experiance. Everything past this entry will be friends only, so if you want to read in on what goes down for those 7 months, I suggest you ask to be added! =]
My name is Lauren. I'm 19 years old and already live in South Florida. I'm just driving up 3 hours away from my home, but this is still all a scary and new adventure for me. I have never lived outside of my home. I have never learned the real experiance of buying my own groceries so this might be an interesting read. My chosen role is Character Attendant and I'll be in Orlando from June 20th 2007 to January 4th, 2008. If this whole program goes well this time around, I might even choose to do it a second or even third time!
So if you are already a friend of mine, someone who is participating in the program this time around, an alumni, or even someone who is interested in the program, maybe reading this journal can give you some insight on my new everyday life.
