I work eight hours a day at camp.
I work out one and a half hours a day at the gym.
I eat a total of about one and a half hours a day.
I sleep about nine hours each night.
The other four hours are spent either pondering, enjoying the company of friends, or watching Star Wars.
What a life, eh?
Seriously though, camp is fun. The kids are so hilarious and have so much potention resting in their spirits. However, it is a draining job and very time consuming. Not that I have much of a social life to begin with, but having camp all day every day pretty much restricts outside of camp activities. I'm starting to speak like the children who mix up their subject and predicate and often sound like yoda. Thus, my Star Wars personas have increased. They are all young, over-zealous, stubborn, but so loving.
It has been over a month since that "blessed activity" has entered my life. Actually, it has been over a month since both of those "blessed activities" have entered my life.
Activity one: good old Mary. Sad. I'm starting to miss those times we spent.
Activity two: Marvin Gaye said it all when he sang "Lets get it on". Well, it hasn't been gotten on in a while.
In reference to activity two... The break that Jesse and I took at the beginning of summer is a lot more serious than I was expecting it to be. We're not talking as much (mostly my doing), and in his absence, I'm starting to question the deep feelings I thought I felt for him. The hardest part of a separation involves missing the things you had such as the night-time phone calls of endearing words and the knowledge that somebody special is thinking that you are their somebody special.
But on a positive note... well I can't think of anything overwhelmingly positive to counteract the negative of the last statment. So, I leave this entry with a loving embrace to my plants, Bob Marley (who looks amazing by the way), Bob Dylan, Bumpy, The Sylvias, and Violet. We love each other.
