A poem of biology and love

Bare chest

Entwined together with our shirts on.
Shirts off.
Beating of hearts together through skin.
Struggling to get through to each other.
Take skin off.
Muscles, peel away.
Nerves and organs, disappear.
Bones away. Sucked out of the pile of veins and hearts that is left.
Two hearts thumping in a puddle of blood
With swimming veins and arteries in the pool.
Slithering and writhing with each pulse.
