I love me some Ginza!
What better way to celebrate a five year anniversary than by celebrating all weekend?! And because I know you all want to know ;), here’s a quick recap…
After much sneaky planning Carl surprised me with a really nice dinner at the Borgata’s Speccio. The waiter actually cut my food for me. I was also expecting him to feed my pasta to me, but I suppose he was too preoccupied with the high rollers sitting next to us. Then I proceeded to do a bit of high rollin’ myself and won a good amount of cash on the “Big 6” wheel. Not to be outdone, Carl won on the slot machine “Spam”.
Saturday was spent searching for bargains at our town’s community yard sale and Cape May’s sidewalk sale. Our big purchases were two very eclectic bikes and an interesting wooden monkey. We finished the day at Cabana’s where the live blues band that was scheduled morphed into an 80’s punk cover band.
Sunday kicked off with a very special trip into Stone Harbor (thank you Carl). Then we satisfied our plant addiction and made fugitives of our selves at the local
K-Mart. We ended the weekend with an awesome dinner at Ginza with Jenn and Sean. How I love those Bento boxes! I am going to start requesting that all my meals come in a box.
I can't wait for all the events in the coming few days. House Warming Party, Jenn's big 2-1, Mo's going away party, and much more. Yay!
