Ring in the New Year with “A Toga Party to Remember!” Join the toga-clad crew at Grand Central (a.k.a. Wildwood Crest apartment) at 7:30pm as we celebrate the New Year!
Some nitty and gritty information:
A toga is needed to enter the party.
Good eating, drinking, and embarrassing party games will be begin at 7:30pm.
A donation to the Tip Jar of $10.00 is suggested and highly recommended.
If you come prepared to drink, please come prepared with a DD, money for a taxi, or stuff to stay the night.
Now on the serious business of toga-tying:
1. Sheets are difficult to work with. Getting cloth from a craft store is easier and less expensive (four or five yards of cloth makes a good toga).
2. Pin the end of the toga material to your left or right side at the waist and then wrap the rest of the material around you at least once. Pin to the opposite side at the waist and throw the rest of the material over one shoulder. Bring the material around the back and pin at the waist again.
3. Wear sandals, crazy costume jewelry, and a laurel (wreath of leaves worn on your head)
4. Carry something stupid like a sword
