So my little 'weekend' is over and I'm working for the next 6 days. And Sandy's on holidays, so until next Tuesday the days will be long.
My glasses are in at Lenscrafters but I won't be able to get to London [1hr 15 mins away] until at least next Wednesday on my day off (but everyone's going camping and I don't know if mum'll come back so we can go to London), if that doesn't work then it'll be next Wednesday (but I doubt that will happen either since the grandparents are coming up or everyone's going to Hamilton to see them except me since I'm working on the day they'd leave to go), so if that doesn't work then it'll be the next Wednesday, the first week of August. Grargh. I hope next Wednesday on my day off works.
Here's my conversation with the Lenscrafters guy:
Guy: Hey, this is Dave from Lenscrafters and your glasses have come in.
Me: Great! But I'm an hour and fifteen away, so I don't know when I'll be able to get in.
Guy: That's ok, we're open until 9!
Um, that's not exactly what I meant. I don't live in London, I mean it'll be a week before I'll get to the store.
- I've added four more pictures to my Italian football players wearing Dolce & Gabbana underwear spam. :D
- Lauren, I forgot to give you the print I got you at the Metropolitan when you were here! I'll get it to you somehow, I just don't want it to be bent in the mail.
- When Aunt Marg was here I gave her my Renoir In The Meadow print because it was her favourite of all the ones I had. She didn't want to take it from me, but after all the stuff and the $500 she and Jim gave me, I think I can part with one print.
- The Bethel Pentecostal's sign this week says Lord, give me the persistence of a weed. WTF? You're losing your touch, guys.
- Jon Stewart: We will start each program with the Canadian national anthem. [singing] "Takin' care of business - every day!" <-- this is still making me laugh
- Cannavaro suits the name Fabio like no other.
Now, go download Rosewatergate! You can skip through the shaky video of Heroe and go right to A Mi Manera. Now watch David handing Urs his rose. It's Rosewatergate! Muahaha! And then later if you watch David and Carlos, it's Rosegate [II] all over again!
