Sass and Zack, WTF? Kati was fabulous.
I have reached 313 shoes sold to date. Go me! 11 pairs today, including the damn crocs that are the scourge of my existence. A woman came in and bought two pairs of Birks from me and she was wearing these beaded sandals that kind of resemble the toe thong Birks, but they're just knock offs. Anyways, she tells me "I got these Birkenstocks in Kenya." They may sell Birkenstocks in Kenya, but I'm pretty sure they don't make them. If they do, they would look like Birkenstocks and would say Birkenstock on the side. But Kenya does have lions! Why did you girls have to get me hooked on this? Holy crap, lions!
Amy's gone to Toronto to pick up a friend and stay for a few days. She said she'll look for a Swiss World Cup jersey for me! But I'm kind of hoping she won't because I'm going to London on Thursday and may have a chance to look for one. But really, I have so much to do in London that I doubt it. If she can't pick me up one then I'm going to get one in Switzerland, on my way to a Borussia-Dortmund game. :D
My Birkenstocks came in yesterday when I was off and Tammy hid them. I've been waiting for over a month for them! Terrible person. And I was searchign for them all day and never found them. Luckily she's working tomorrow so I can harass her until she gives them to me.
Ok, this Steffi DiDomenicantonio needs to be kicked off Idol. There's something about her that I find irritating, maybe it's because she reminds me of Shannon. Augh, stop singing please. Canadian Idol has reinforced my dislike of female singers. I only liked Eva Avila and Kati Durst and maybe Nancy Silverman until she went all goofy.
Now, for more singing, go watch the Azzurri singing Azzurro. Oh, win. I love it and it's just hilarious. Go Italy! I wish this was an audio file because I'd definitely add it to my mp3 player.
I still can't believe Oded Fehr cut his hair, I know it was a quite a while ago, but still! Oooh, I love that man.
I'm getting more of my visa stuff in order. Phew, it's a lot of stuff to throw together.
I feel like making more icons but I'm not in the mood for making screencaps for said icons. Yes, my life is just that hard right now.
ETA: And apparently a guy in town bought the lot behind our house and is going to be building there in July. Goodbye our view of the lake. :( Now, why did he buy that particular lot? Because all of the trees in my backyard provide 'privacy'. You big cheater! Get a different lot and plant your own trees! Wienie. *is bitter over the growing development between my house and the bluff over the lake*
