I need to stop eating Easter candy
I'm home! My dad picked me up this morning and we stopped about 1/3 of the way in Kitchener to go to a Thai place for lunch. It was really good! It was a sugar cane shrimp, grilled pork, and spring roll vermicelli bowl and it was absolutely delicious. And then just outside of the city he pulled over and let me drive home (very big deal because dad does not relinquish the car. Ever.)
My brother's almost as tall as I am and has apparently not listened to my threats about not growing any more. Huge turkey dinner was delicious. And then we watched Beyond Borders, which is horrifying, while listening to my parents mention at least twice that they don't like Angelina's lips. "Enough with the Botox..." Ha.
I'm also breaking the LJ strike-that-is-actually-a-boycott. After reading over the reasons for both sides it's my opinion that a very divided "strike" really isn't sending much of a message to LJ. Another will come along when LJ makes another change.
My mum's commandeered my tomorrow in order to oversee me sending my resume to different companies. It's going to be a blast, I'm sure.
And a very happy belated birthday to vibrantharmony!!
