I'm excited that Jericho's back on! Yay! Except I'm kind of confused, I thought the series ended on "Nuts!" and they had to defend the town. Now it seems to be months later. Did I miss the actual premier? I would go back to the first season and check it out, except my external hard drive doesn't work! AUGH!! *tears hair* I plug it in (USB) and it says there's a I/O device error. I want it to be fixed! It has EVERYTHING on it, mainly my photos from France (also on my desktop, luckily) and all of my movies and tv series with Band of Brothers actors (Forsyte Saga, Standoff, Life, random episodes of Michael Cudlitz appearances, Submerged with Ross McCall and Peter YH, and Michel Vaillant, and EVERYTHING!) *deep breath* Hopefully it can be fixed. Anybody have any experience with I/O device errors?
On Thursday my mum and I are going to see my Grandma (yay!) and take her to a
Chris Botti concert on Thursday at Hamilton Place. He's a jazz trumpet player. We've managed to get free tickets (points to my aunt's SO) so that's a bonus. I was listening to his Italia cd the other day and I love his covers of Gabriel's Oboe [Nella Fantasia, also covered by Il Divo] from The Mission, Caruso* [also covered by Il Divo] and Nessun Dorma and they're gorgeous! Just listen to a couple of the clips on his website. I'm excited for this concert! (AUGH!! I just remembered that I left my camera in Guelph. Damnit! It takes great shots and video. Man, I was thinking of bringing it home for Reading Week, but noo "I won't need it, I'm just going home." *sigh*)
Dentist was fine today. They're computerizing everything so there's an actual graphic on the screen of my teeth with all the details on it, like my bottom wire retainer that glued on (fricking hate the stupid thing). But it's neat, much more up to date than my old dentist who was very set in his ways. They have a debit/credit machine now! Old dentist only took cheques.
*Which reminds me that I have to post the video I have of the busker in Barcelona who was playing this on... that instrument that's like a trapezoid with strings, played with little hammers. You know the one I mean! Anyways, she was playing Caruso and I stopped dead, "That's an Il Divo song!" and I filmed a bit because it was pretty.
