I wrote a paper on Joel-Peter Witkin for studio class today.
What a weird guy.
Very talented. But very weird.
He supposedly saw a little girl get decapitated in a car accident when he was a kid, which he claims sparked his interest in dead bodies.
At least his portraiture is different.
Anyway, I got an 87 on the paper. Actually a 97, but minus 10 points for being late.
Tomorrow, Aubrey and I are spending the day in Gwinnett with my family after my doctor's appointment.
Hopefully we will get to swim with John David!
Gatlinburg with Aubs, Joe, and Alexia was SOO fun. We got old-timey photos made. I really need to scan the print in, it's hilarious.
We hiked lots of miles, saw lots of mountains and lots of elk, ate yummy food (minus Shoney's, which wasn't particularly yummy), visited an abandoned hotel, had many boiled peanuts, and offended a couple people (one in Shoney's).
We are getting married in 198 days now. AHHHHH!
I am so annoyed with some people and so in love with others. There is no in between.
Only one school day left til the end of the quarter.
