Okay, so I lied. I have time to update tonight.

SO glad spring break is here. The only good thing that happened these past few weeks before break has been the weekend when Joe came down to visit ISU. That weekend was really amazing. We didn't do tooo much, but it was just great to be able to see Joe again. Friday night was game night in Amber/Sam's room, and Joe was finally able to meet everyone that I hang out with here. We played sooo many games there including Cranium and Outburst..it was about 2 AM when we finally decided to call it a night. Saturday we just hung out around ISU and at night we played pool with laur, brian, sam, and amber in the bowling and billiards center. I forgot how fun playing pool was! My Dad tried teaching me a few years back when he had a pool table in his basement, and I guess some of the lessons he taught me came back because I wasnt as bad at it as i expected when we all played, lol. Definetly wanna do that again sometime soon :)Sunday Joe and I went to Wal-Mart for some stuff (in joes car tho, no bus!) and I introduced joe to Gumby's Pokey Sticks w/Ranch dressing, and he enjoyed them. I hated saying goodbye to him Sunday night, and it was so wierd when I got back to the room because Laura was gone too. As much as I like my alone time, being alone in the dorm rooms at night just sucks.

The week before Spring break was pretty much terrible. I had piles and piles of homework and reading assignments to do, as well as two papers and two tests. I didn't do so hot on my Special Ed test (got an 80) but I did decent on my psych test (92). I think I really just needed to get outta the dorm..being at ISU for two and a half months straight without going home once was really getting to me. Luckily Joe called at just the right time on Thursday night, and he was able to keep me sane until I was able to leave on Friday.

Amber was kind enough to drive me, Laura, and Sam home on Friday, and it was a blast driving home with them! I was able to be the DJ for the drive, and I blasted a bunch of oldie CD's like N'Sync and Natalie Imbrulia. It's amazing after all these years we all knew the lyrics to all the songs that were played. My mom picked me up at Woodfield, and it sucked because as soon as I got home I realized I had to try to get to bed soon because I had to wake up at 4:30 AM to leave my house by 5:30 to head to O'Hare. Needless to say, I didnt get to bed until 1:30 so i was exhausted when my mom and i left for the airport.

I was a little nervous going on a plane by myself for the first time, but it really wasnt bad at all. I met this woman that was sitting next to me that was a dental hygenist from Seattle, and she was going to visit her mom's new house in Charlotte. She looked exhausted and she had a good reason..she took three other plane rides before getting on the one we both were on going directly to Charlotte. I fell asleep about 20 minutes into the planeride, and about an hour later I woke up to people shrieking and swearing. We hit REALLY bad turbelence and there was a point in the ride where we all literally jumped out of our seats..thank goodness we were all wearing our belts lol.

My Dad picked me up at the Charlotte airport. It's been about three months or so since I last saw him, so it was pretty emotional when I got in the car and hugged him. I was amazed at the scenery when he was driving me to his house, Charlotte is SO beautiful. Not only is the weather perfect in North Carolina (about 70 degrees), but all the houses yards had really green grass with nice landscaping. My Dad's house is pretty sweet as well, its two stories but no basement which sucks but oh well. In addition, this cat randomly runs in and out of my Dad's house during the day; my Dad named her Noodles and feeds her every morning. Now I don't know if you guys know this..but I DESPISE CATS. I had this really bad experience when I was younger with a cat, and every time I see cats I think back to my experience and freak out. Noodles, however, makes it hard for me to be scared because she keeps on following me around the house and rubbing up against my leg and purring. At first I was a little creeped out by her doing that, but now it's kind of cute lol.

Now I'm sitting in my Dad's office typing this, waiting for 24 to come on! I'm glad my Dad is as addicted to this show as I am..*sigh* if only there was a real Jack Bauer saving our world from terrorists. In your opinion, is it okay to have a fictional hero? Because if it is okay, I would have to say Jack is my hero.

I'm gonna get going now because I know this update is pretty dang long, but I will have to update later about last night, when my Dad and I went to the Biltmore Mansion and Inn located in Ashville, North Carolina. If you have a chance google the Biltmore Mansion, its pretty sweet.

Well my Dad's waiting for me to get back downstairs, the shows gonna start pretty soon, so all you ISU people have an awesome spring break, and for those of you that are done with your breaks, good luck in classes!
