yay, things are getting better little by little.
Went to Cornerstone tonight, and I'm really glad I went. It's just something about the people there, how accepting and welcoming they are, that always makes me want to come back for more. Dan is just such an amazing guy, the way he treats everyone is amazing... i really wish I was more like him. Ashley, a leader of the Cornerstone group im in, explained to me about this thing called Life groups that meet every wednesday night. its a group of about 5 girls that just hang out, talk about whats going on in their lives, and read the Bible. Although I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I beleive regarding religion, I do know I like being around the people from Cornerstone, so i might give that a try to see how it goes.
Dropped that terribly intimidating class. Anyone who is considering taking "Representation: Knowledge and Power" with Joe Amato...RECONSIDER! If you want the details feel free to ask, but just trust me on this one.
I'm still really bummed out that my Dad's moving to north carolina in like 3 weeks, so i better see him before he leaves! I'm just still in shock that he's leaving so soon. Its really going to suck not being able to see him every other weekend when I'm back at home. I know im gonna miss him like no other..so over this summer im sure im gonna be visiting him for at least a few weeks. but in the meantime I'm pretty sure i'll be coming back home on labor day weekend to see him..if I don't then I have absolutely no idea when I will see him again. Damn jobs.
I really miss people back at home..jessica if your reading this im glad we were able to hang out my last day in FRG..you made it probably the best night of the summer! oh, and congrats about your 2nd job interview!! :)
This weekend should be interesting. Lots of stuff going on, in addition to a crapload of homework..but im just glad its the weekend finally. this week went by wayyy too slow.
