I am feeling generally out of touch with everyone that I used to know...
Obviously, I still see David and my mom, but outside of that I don't really even talk to letalone see anyone. Granted I spend a good deal of time at work, and a lot of my friends are in different states or countries, but it still seems like everyone just sort of disapeared.

That's because we're doing things like writing PhD dissertation proposals and preparing for comprehensive exams, all things that tend to make us drop off the earth.

Hi Kam!!! Sorry I've been so long in responding, I've had very little free time lately. I'd love to chat with you sometime. I'm generally around later in the evenings. Thanks so much for the cool presents from India! :) I've been wearing my scarf around and everyone loves it. I going to think of something really interesting to do with those pearls ;). I don't have a 'too busy' excuse like Cam or Michelle, but I plead the 'no internet!' excuse. Not that I couldn't handwrite you a letter some time... *cold shivers down my spine*... writting aey...

Say what are the preicise dates for your wedding and reception and all that other jaz that goes with weddings? Because I want to see if I can scam my grandparents for money to buy a plane ticket, and check that it doesn't conflict with our midservice conference. April is after all our hottest month and we don't have school. It'd be nice to get out and see you if I could. May have to swing through CA to talk the folks into the ticket, but I think I could handle that.

The wedding itself will be on Saturday, April 14th. I don't know what all else we'll be doing, but if you come uot I'm sure we'll do something fun :)
